FREQUENTLY ASKED

QUESTIONS

Q: Do I need any experience?
A: No experience is needed! Come to have fun painting, and you will naturally develop talent over time. We Promise!

Q: What ages can participate?
A: People of all ages are welcome to paint! It is up to parents' discretion to decide whether their child is ready to paint during open studio or attend a class.

Q: Will you teach me how to do this?
A: During open studio, you will be painting independently. That being said, there is always someone on staff happy to assist with specific questions and techniques. We want you to love what you make, and we love helping you make it. If you want to be taught then sign up for one of our classes or book a private event!

Q: Are the items food safe/functional?
A: All items are completely food safe and functional! They are top shelf dishwasher safe, microwave safe, and oven safe up to 350 degrees F.

Q: How long does it take to paint?
A: Painting can take as long as you need it to. Some painters find that 30 minutes is enough while others need several visits. You are more than welcome to take pieces home and bring them back to finish at your convenience
with no additional charge. And, we'll even bubble wrap it for you!

Q: Does the paint stain?

A: The pottery paints do not stain anything! Unfortunately, the canvas paints will, so we provide aprons when painting on canvas.

Q: Are the paints safe for children?
A: All of our paints are non-toxic, and safe for children.

Q: How much does it cost to do this?
A: Items are priced individually. Prices range from $10 - $60. There is a piece for every budget!

Q: Are there studio fees?
    A: Nope!

Q: What types of payment do you take?
A: We take cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.

Q: Do I need to bring anything?
A: All of the necessary supplies are provided at the studio. But, if you want to get really fancy you can bring your lucky brushes!

Q: When do I get my piece back?
A: Pieces are always ready one week after painting with exceptions for special events and holidays.

Q: What if I can’t come back when my piece is ready?
A: Pieces are held for two months after being fired.

Q: Do I need to make an appointment or reservation?
A: You don’t need to make an appointment or reservation for
Open Studio. Parties need to be booked at least a week in advance. Call the studio to book your event!

Q: Do you have classes?
A: We do offer public classes! Our class schedule can be found on the
Events Calendar page.

Q: Can I bring food?
    A: During
Open Studio food is welcome, as long as you only take up one seat per person. During parties, we designate a whole room to food and drinks! We love to party.

A: Yes, our studio is wheelchair accessible.

Q: Can I bring animals?
A: Service dogs are welcome, but no other animals, please.
