Open Studio is a time for walk-ins as an individual or small groups.

Anyone, any age, can paint freely and independently. A staff member will always be close by for any questions or guidance. Ready-to-paint ceramics, canvases, and raw clay are available in a variety of styles and sizes.

Pricing

Items are priced individually and can range from $10 to $60. We don't have studio fees; prices are all inclusive!

SERVICES

PAINT YOUR OWN POTTERY

When you enter the studio, we advise you to browse through all the pottery before choosing the one you want to paint. You'll want to grab a seat and set your item down before heading to the painting station. We have over 100 colors to choose from so we are positive you can keep your paint pallet full. Have fun, stay as long as you want, and be creative! Once you're finished you will leave your items with us and we'll take care of the rest. You can come back the following week to pick up your masterpiece.

PAINT YOUR OWN CANVAS

When you enter the studio, you will want to look around the corner at our canvas selection. Let us know what size and colors you want and we will set you up with everything you need. Have fun, stay as long as you want, and be creative! Once you're finished you can dry your canvas at our drying station and take it home to enjoy!

HAND BUILD WITH CLAY

When you enter the studio, inform an employee that you would like to work with raw clay. Clay is sold for $5 every half-pound with a $5 per person fee. This price includes both firings, and all the tools and glazes needed to complete your project. Every handmade clay project takes about two weeks to air dry before its first firing. After that, you can come back to glaze your project. Once painted, you can pick up your project the next week.

WHEEL THROWING WITH CLAY

Wheel throwing is by appointment only and you must have prior experience. If you do not have experience you can take a class from us! (Click here) To rent independent time on the wheel please call the studio @ 423.310.8715. There is a $35 an hour fee for wheel throwing. Clay is sold for $5 every half-pound. After that, you can come back to glaze your project. Once painted, you can pick up your project the next week.
